Andrew Harnik

Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Andrew Harnik worked as a newspaper and magazine photojournalist starting in 2003 and then joined the Associated Press in 2015. After nine years with AP, he recently joined Getty Images.
Andrew has been recognized with awards from the Photos of the Year International and National Press Photographers Association’s Best of Photojournalism competitions, as well as the White House News Photographers Association for the past 16 years in a row including the Political Photograph of the Year in 2012, and again in 2017, a top honor.
Andrew lives in Washington and is married with a baby girl.
