Sara Cook is a White House Producer and Multi-Platform Reporter for CBS News. She has covered the White House since 2017, previously for NHK Japan Broadcasting Corporation, and was on the campaign trail for the 2016, 2020, and 2024 presidential elections. She also produced “The Takeout” and “Agent of Betrayal” podcasts. Before starting her career in media, Sara served as Congressional Liaison at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC. She received a Masters of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a BA in International Affairs from the George Washington University.
