Marisa Fernandez of Canton, Ohio, is a recipient of a $4,000 scholarship. Marisa is now a senior writer and editor of the culture section of The Post. She was instrumental in helping create the Scripps Hispanic Network, a professional organization for Hispanic students in communications and journalism. This summer she will intern in New York at CBS. In the future, Marisa hopes to cover foreign affairs and tech news.
