Marianna Sotomayor is a self-described political junkie who left Florida’s warm ocean breezes for cold winters and hot air in DC. She will receive a BA in Political Communications this year from George Washington University. Marianna has diverse skills in digital media after nearly four years reporting for GW’s student-run television station, GW-TV. She has interned at Campaigns and Elections Magazine, The Hill, CNN’s Washington Bureau and was chosen to participate in POLITICO’s Journalism Institute in 2014. It is a career goal for Marianna to report on Congressional and Presidential elections.
