Kyra E. Azore

Kyra E. Azore of New Orleans, Louisiana, receives a $7,000 grant.

Kyra is majoring in Broadcast Journalism. She has reported for WHBC, the school’s student radio station. She edited election coverage for the Howard University News Service and was an associate producer for the Spotlight Network. She also was an elected student representative for the National Association of Black Journalists. After graduating in 2019, she hopes to become a producer.
