Davone Morales of Los Angeles, California, receives a $2,500 grant.
He is a senior majoring in Journalism & Mass Communication. Davone has been general manager of student-run television station GW-TV and executive producer of the station’s news magazine, GWeek. He hopes to become a broadcast journalist for local or national television.
