Howard University The scholarship is a grant of $7,000 to each of two students. Nancy Vu of Bowie, Maryland, is a sophomore earning her degree in Journalism. Nancy is a freelance writer for The Prince George’s Sentinel and a contributing writer to The Hilltop, Howard University’s student newspaper.
