Steve Thomma

Steve Thomma is the Executive Director of the WHCA.

He is a veteran White House correspondent himself who has won the National Press Club’s award for best regional reporting in Washington, the WHCA’s Aldo Beckman Award for distinguished presidential news coverage, and the Gerald R. Ford Foundation’s Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency.

He is a former board member and a former president of the WHCA. He also is a former trustee of Dominican University in Chicago, and serves on an advisory committee at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
