Kaitlan Collins is CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent. Since joining the network in 2017, she has broken stories in her coverage of both the Biden and Trump administrations, including major staff departures, consequential policy decisions, the war in Ukraine and the COVID-19 pandemic. She has covered both presidents abroad, and pressed each on the world stage.
Collins joined CNN from The Daily Caller, where she covered the Trump administration and 2016 campaign. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and often returns home to cheer on the Crimson Tide during football season.
Before joining the board, Collins mentored students in the White House Correspondents’ Association scholarship program.
